Toddler Taxonomist

by Cameron on May 20, 2013

EMvibe on Duke’s Choreolab

by Cameron on March 20, 2013

The EMvibe will be part of a piece by Tommy DeFrantz and his students on the Duke University Dance Program’s Choreolab 2013. In this piece the EMvibe is being used to process the speech sounds of three dancers. This is a new direction for the instrument. The effect is beautiful and the piece as a whole is really interesting.

The performances are on Friday and Saturday March 29 and 30 in the Reynolds Theater at Duke.
